The city of Nagpur is uniquely
situated at the Geographical Centre of two National Highways No.
6 & 7 and Rail connections to all the major cities of the
country. Direct flight from the city connect to Mumbai,

historic Vidarbha region, made famous in the history as home of

Nationally important institutions such as the National Environment
Engineering Research Institute (NEERI), Indian Standards
Institute, Cotton Research Institute, Head Quarters of Western
Coal Fields Limited Explosives Department etc.
With the presence of almost all the
Nationalised Banks and the RBI, Nagpur can provide the entire
gamout of banking services including Tele-Banking and ATMs.
Internet connectively is fast and
most reliable with a number of private ISPs, apart from DOT, in
the market. With the opening of Software Technology Park (STP)
the city now plans to make a name for itself on the Software map
of India.

Started in the year 1994, this
industrial area has already attracted an invest of over Rs.2400
Crores and gives direct employment to around 7000 persons.
The area
developed by Maharashtra industrial Development Corporation (MIDC),
is headed to become one of the nuclei for Industrial Growth in the
country.
Butibori
Industrial Area has every conceivable infrastructural facility as
is required for any Industry and is one of the best in the
country. Potable quality water from Wadgaon Dam is available
in plenty, 30.5 MLD to be precise. The water supply is
upgradable to 61 MLD, if so required. |

| Nearly 65 kms of internal
roads, all fully asphalted, connect every plot. All the
roads are well lit and perfectly designed. The two main
arterial roads are four lane with footpaths, beautified road
junctions, well appointed gardens and road side plantations.
Good quality
power is available on demand. Mobile Telephone services too
are available.
Present Industrial Scenario at Butibori
Butibori
developed on 2312 hectares of land, is getting itself established
as a textile zone with the presence of major textile units such as
Indorama Synthetic (I) Ltd, Woolworth, Fabworth, Texprint and
Morarjee Brembana Ltd. With the construction of Common
Effluent Treatment plant, it is expected that the Textile industry
will receive further boost at Butibori. To provide a
superior infrastructure, a Five Star Industrial Zone has come up
on 270 hectares within the industrial area. An additional
area of 1544 hectares is under acquisition for development, as a
Five Star Zone. |

To make this Industrial Estate a
Model one, the MIDC has also provided Residential and Commercial
Zones, with their attendant facilities within the Industrial Area,
to take care of the Workers and the Executives' housing needs, as
transit accommodations, dormatories and residential quarters have
already been constructed by MIDC for use of the industry.
Additionally the CIDCO too has started its Housing Scheme in the
area. Round-the-Clock water supply services are provided
through the Water Treatment Plant of MIDC located within the
area. A Single window Scheme office of the State Government
provides Single Point Assistance on all matters related to various
government departments
If the superb
infrastructure and locational advantages alone are not sufficient,
incentives to set shop at the Butibori Industrial Area, the State
Government offers an exciting array of incentives to industries
coming up here, that too on a scale higher than other areas of the
