Basundi
Preparation time: 5 minutes Serves 6
Cooking time: 2 hours 5 minutes
Ingredients:
3 liters of milk 1 tin condensed milk

3 tbsp. milk masala

2 tbsp. raisins

2 tbsp. pistachio nuts blanched and sliced

2 tbsp. almonds blanched and sliced
2 tbsp. sliced cashew nuts
Method:
  1. Put the milk in the pan of the cooker without the cooking plate and switch to 'cook mode'. Do not cover with the lid.
  2. After 60 minutes add the condensed milk, milk masala, almonds, pistachio nuts, cashew nuts and raisins.
  3. Cook for 65 more minutes and then switch off.
  4. Serve the basundi hot or cold. Garnish with silver varak.
Note:

After the milk begins to boil, stir it every 10 minutes, throught the preparation to avoid burning at the base.
