Aloo Matar Paneer Korma

Serves: 6

Ingredients:
250 gms. baby potatoes
150 gms. green peas
1/4 cup of oil
2 cloves
1 strip of cinnamon
1 large onion crushed to a paste
1 tsp. ginger paste
1 tsp. garlic paste
2 cups of tomato puree
2 tbsp. dried fenugreek leaves
1/2 tsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. turmeric
2 tsp. red chili powder
1-1/2 tsp. salt
250 gms. cubed cottage cheese
Method:
  1. Put the peas and baby potatoes in the pan of the cooker without the cooking plate. Add 2 cups of water, cover with the lid and switch to 'cook mode'. After 20 minutes manually switch to 'warm mode'. Remove the boiled peas and baby potatoes.
  2. Put the oil in the pan of the cooker and switch to 'cook mode'. Add cloves, cinnamon and onion paste and fry till golden [8 minutes approx.]. Add ginger paste and garlic paste and fry for 2 more minutes. Then add tomato puree, dried fenugreek leaves, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, salt and cottage cheese.
  3. After 10 minutes add boiled peas and potatoes with 2 cups of water. Cover with the lid.
  4. Cook for 20 more minutes and then switch off. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
