Grate the of one orange then squeeze all the oranges and the lemon. Whip the cream until half thick and put it in the fridge. Peel the bananas and cut in half lengthwise.
Heat half the butter in a frying pan and fry the banana halves on both sides.
- Remove from the pan and put to one side. Heat the rest of the butter in the same pan then sprinkle in the sugar and dissolve,
stirring all the time.
Add the orange and lemon juice and the grated orange peel and cook over a high flame for 2-3 minutes or until it
caramelizes slightly.
- Put the bananas in the sauce and cook quickly. Arrange on plates and serve garnished with the whipped cream and toasted almonds.
