Rice Kheer

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time :35 minutes

Serves 4

Ingredients:
1 liter milk 1/4 cup water
2 to 2-1/2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 cup raisins
5 almonds blanched and sliced

3 pistachio nuts blenched and sliced

1 tbsp. rice soaked in 1/4 cup of water for 1/2 hour
Method:
  1. Crush the soaked rice in a grinder to a paste. Put the milk, rice paste and sugar in the pan of the cooker without the cooking plate and switch to 'cook mode'. Do not cover with the lid.
  2. Cook for 35 minutes and then switch off. Add the raisin, pistachio nuts and almonds and mix well. Serve chilled.
Note:
After the milk begins to boil, stir it every 10 minutes throughout the preparation to avoid burning at the base.
