Sago Mould

Preparation time: ½ hour

Serves 5-6 

Ingredients: 
1 cup Sago [sabudana] ½ cup sugar
1 tsp. green elaichi powder ½ cup desiccated coconut
2 tbsp. butter or oil ½ cup jaggery
A few drops of edible yellow or red colour
Method:
  1. Grate the coconut and extract milk by grinding and adding some water. Soak sago in this milk for 3-4 hours or until the grain swell. Cook it with jaggery and sugar. Add desiccated coconut, elaichi and butter. Mix well. Add yellow for ¼ of it. 
  2. Make round balls and yellow coloured mixture in the center. Decorate with kishmis. Cool and serve.
