- Remove the stems from the mushrooms
and wash. Heat 1 tsp. oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, when they
crackle, add mashed potatoes and paneer and mix well. Add salt, red
chilli powder and 1 tbsp. coriander powder, stir well.
- Take one mushroom and stuff it with
this stuffing, cover it with another mushroom. Make a smooth paste
of corn flour, dip each stuffed mushroom in this paste and deep-fry
till it becomes golden brown.
- Heat oil in a pan, add brown onion
paste and ginger paste and fry well. Add tomato puree and garam
masala powder, saute for a minute. Add salt, chopped ginger and red
chilli powder. Fry till the masalas leave the sides of the
pan.
- Make thick gravy. Add mushrooms very
carefully. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
