Dhapewada is situated on the bank of
Chandrabhaga river. The town possesses a notable temple of Vithoba,
overlooking the river. It was built by Umaji Aba, Diwan to Raja Baji Rao
Bhonsla. Dhapewada is being known as Vidarbha's Pandharpur.
