This
is the headquarter of the Nagpur division and district. It is
situated on Central railway. The present city of Nagpur was founded at
the beginning of the 18th century by the Gond Raja Bakht
Buland. The city grew with the growth of the Bohnsla Kingdom and was
considerably improved by the Rajas of that dynasty. This is second
capital of Maharashtra and also known as orange city.
